KERSHAW – Retired S.C. Air National Guard Command Chief Master Sgt. James Noah "Jim" Edwards, 64, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Faile Edwards; a daughter, Tonya Edwards Smarr of Great Falls; a son, Russ Edwards of Canton, Ga.; two grandchildren; three sisters, Lois Ann Allen, Janet Foster and Verna Dick, all of Kentucky; and three brothers, Jerry Edwards, Gilbert Lee Edwards and Robert Edwards, all of Kentucky.
Services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, in the sanctuary of Charlesboro Baptist Church. Burial followed with full Military Honors in the Blackmon Cemetery. The Revs. Jackie Bailey and Gerry Potokaw officiated.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, at Baker Funeral Home and other times at the home.
