Robert Jackson Obituary

bert Kenneth Jackson, 80, died on Thursday, Oct.3, 2013, at his residence
A celebration of life service is 2 p.m. Monday Oct. 7, 2013, at Antioch Baptist Church. The Dr. Rev. Trent McLaughlin and Rev. Brian Jump will officiate. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Lancaster. Mr. Jackson's Sunday school class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends after the service in the family life center.
Mr. Jackson was born Dec. 11, 1932, in Great Falls. He was a son of the late Connie Mathis Jackson and the late Lawrence G Jackson. He worked for Springs Industries as a screen printer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church and co-owner of Kid Stuff Child Development.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, James and Joe Jackson.
Mr. Jackson, is survived by his wife of 47 years Pat Jackson, daughter; Sheri Brasington and her husband, Steve; daughter, Alisha Hunter and her fiancé Greg Self; son, Robert "Bobby" Jackson Jr. and his wife, Mochelle; sons, Ron Jackson Richard  Noegel and his wife, Coy, all of Lancaster and Randy Jackson and his wife, Penny of Monroe; 17 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church 3052 Taxahaw Road. Lancaster, SC 29720
