Doster, Kate (Laney) - Lancaster  
Kate Laney Doster, 92, died Friday, March 20, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Wilson Laney and Hattie Plyler Laney, and was the wife of the late Rev. John Travis Doster. Survivors include two sons, Douglas Ray Doster of Lancaster and Dale Travis Doster of Pageland; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services were 3 p.m. Monday, March 23, at Wolf Pond Baptist Church, by the Revs. Mark Evans and Rod Yow. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends one hour before the service from 2to 3 p.m. Monday in the church fellowship hall, and other times at the home of Ray Doster. Memorials may be made to Wolf Pond Baptist Church, 78 Wolf Pond Road, Pageland, SC 29728. Burgess Funeral Home & Cremation Service is in charge.

Doster, Timothy Michael - Lancaster  
Lancaster – Timothy Michael Doster, 49, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015.  He was the son of Sherman Ross Doster and Linda Barton Doster. Survivors include his parents of Lancaster; and a brother, Phillip Doster of Columbia.            The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, March 27, at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Sherman and Linda Doster. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at Lancaster Memorial Park, conducted by the Rev. Peggy Blackwell.

Duncan, Mildred (Bowers) - Heath Springs  
HEATH SPRINGS – Mildred Bowers Duncan, 84, of Heath Springs, widow of Edward Junior Duncan, died Thursday, March 19, 2015. She was a daughter of the late Jasper Bowers and Viola Caskey Bowers. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at New Hope Baptist Church, with the Rev. Patrick Clark officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Dease of Lancaster; seven brothers, Anderson Bowers of Heath Springs, Charles Bowers of Indian Land, Leo Bowers and Ted Bowers, both of Lancaster, Toy Bowers of Indian Land, Condor Bowers and Eugene Bowers, both of Heath Springs; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, March 20, at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home of Steve Duncan, 141 Duncan Hill Road, Heath Springs. Memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund, 3731 Lynwood Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720. Lancaster Funeral Home is in charge.
