Mrs. Deborah Faile Hilton, 59, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at her home. She was born Aug. 3, 1953, in Lancaster and was a daughter of the late Joseph K. Faile and Ivalee Carnes Faile. Mrs. Hilton retired from Sea Ray Boats and was a member of New Life Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Craig M. Sumner of Kershaw; two daughters, Dena Newell and her husband, Gary, of Lancaster and Chandra Hilton West and her husband, Kelly, of Rock Hill; two brothers, Bill Faile and his wife, Debbie and Pete Faile and his wife, Candye, both of Lancaster; three sisters, Mary "Sis" McClain and her husband, Richard, of Pageland, Joann Lucas and her husband Carl, of Lancaster and Kaye Newsome and her husband, Geoff, of Lancaster; eight grandchildren, Ashli Newell, Halee Carnes, Ryan Hilton, Kendal Carnes, Chase Hilton, Hunter Hilton, Kody Sumner and Jayden Sumner; and two great-grandchildren, Joel Baker and Jaycee Sowell. Mrs. Hilton was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Hilton Jr. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Hilton is at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at New Life Freewill Baptist Church, 1622 Springdale Road, officiated by the Revs. Mitch Ingram, Roger Anders, Doug Pate and Tony Hargett with burial at Lancaster Memorial Park. The family of Mrs. Hilton is receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 15, at Hartley–Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway and other times at the home of her daughter, Dena Newell.
