MYRTLE BEACH – Ms. Elizabeth Cameron Altman, 44, of Myrtle Beach passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Grand Strand Regional Hospital in Myrtle Beach. She was born March 9, 1969, in Lancaster and was a daughter of the late Linda Cameron James and Danny James. She was the adopted daughter of her late grandparents, Isaac P. Cameron and Gertrude Burch Cameron. Elizabeth grew up as a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Lancaster and most recently attended Christian Church in Myrtle Beach. She had an outgoing personality, always full of life. She loved her family and friends, especially her daughter, Candis and her fiancé, Dave. Ms. Altman is survived by her daughter, Candis Lee Mahaffey Sheffield and her fiancé, Dave Stewart; three sisters, Diane Williams of Myrtle Beach, Joyce Thurman and her husband, Wayne and Janice Steele and her husband, Doc, all of Lancaster. Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Altman are 3 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Tim Anderson, with burial in Lancaster Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at Lancaster Funeral Home.
