Jack Hinson

AIKEN – Mr. Jack Hinson, 73, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013. He was born in Lancaster and was a son of the late Franklin Pierce & Sarah Birdie Phillips Hinson. Mr. Hinson was a retired supply clerk with E.I. Dupont in Camden. He was a member of St. Luke Methodist Church of Lancaster. Survivors include his beloved wife of 48 years, Mrs. Elaine Boyd Hinson of Aiken; two sons, Jeff Hinson and his wife, Julette, and Greg Hinson and his wife, Mary, all of Aiken; four grandchildren, Jeremy Hinson, Draven Hinson, Alex Wolf and Kiefer Tindall; a sister, Jean Crenshaw and her husband, Bill, of Lancaster; a brother-in-law, Mike Boyd of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Jack Hinson are 4 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Southlawn Cemetery, 4524 Whiskey Road, Aiken, SC 29803. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Lucille Harmon, Frances Bailey, Ann Usher and his twin sister, Jill Woods.
