Kenneth Love

KERSHAW – Mr. Kenneth Ray Love, 52, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Springs Memorial Hospital. Mr. Love was born in Camden and was a son of the late Willie Heyward and Millie Robertson Love. Before becoming disabled Mr. Love was a registered nurse. He was a former case manager for Humana Company, a critical care nurse at Springs Memorial Hospital and quality assessment manager for Lancaster Recovery Center. He had also been a flight nurse for Providence Hospitals in Columbia and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Lancaster. Mr. Love is survived by his son, William Kenneth "Liam" Love of Lancaster; his former wife, Rebecca B. Love of Lancaster; a sister, Dorothy Gregory and her husband, Tom; two brothers, Charles Love and his wife, Anada and Thomas R. "Tommy" Love and his wife, Judy, all of Kershaw; sister–in-law, Sheila Love and her special friend, Donald Price of Kershaw; two nieces, Lacy Driver and Cherie Love, both of Lancaster; two nephews, John Gregory of Kershaw and Dr. Travis Love of Charleston, W. Va.; three great-nephews, Dalton Driver, Tyler and Austin Mullis, all of Lancaster and special caregiver, Sharon Brasington. He was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Love. Funeral services for Kenneth Ray Love were 2 p.m., Saturday, June 22, at Pleasant Plain Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Todd Montgomery, with burial in the church cemetery.
