Mrs. Patricia Marie Stevens Morgan, 58, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at her home. She was born Aug. 14, 1954, in Lancaster and was a daughter of the late Edward and Christell Lodridge Stevens. Mrs. Morgan attended Good News Outreach Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved spending time with her family and working in her yard. Mrs. Morgan loved her animals, especially her two dogs, Missy and Coco. She was always a giving person and never expected anything in return. Mrs. Morgan is survived by her husband, James Allen Morgan of Lancaster; a son, Jeffrey Allen Morgan and his wife, Mandy, of Lancaster; two daughters, Cindy James and her husband, Tommy, of Lancaster and Denise Keener and her husband, John, of Edgemoor. After the death of her brother, Shelton, she raised his two children, Elizabeth Stevens and Frank Stevens Jr., as if they were her own children. She is also survived by three brothers, Harold Stevens, Robert Stevens, and Johnny Stevens, all of Lancaster; a sister, Doris Sims of Lancaster; and 10 grandchildren, Brandon Moore, Trisha Moore, Jonathan Moore, Riley James, Ryan James, Alden Morgan, Cheyenne Sims, Bella Sims, Branson Sims and Autumn Sims. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Shelton Stevens and James Stevens. Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Morgan are 10 a.m. Saturday, June 8, at High Point Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by the Revs. Howard Messer and Brian Barton, with burial in Lancaster Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, June 7, at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home, 1803 Flat Creek Road.
