Mr. Robert Orvin "Bob" Baughman II, 58, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, at his home.
He was born May 18, 1955, in Akron, Ohio, a son of the late Robert Orvin Baughman and Thelma Wentzel Baughman.
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son-in-law and friend. He loved fishing, camping, ATV riding, golf and the great outdoors. Bob enjoyed sharing his hope of God's Kingdom. He was well known for his generosity, willing to drop everything to help anyone in need, and was never at a loss for words.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Baughman is 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at the Kingdom Hall, with Dan LeGault officiating.
Mr. Baughman is survived by his wife, Carole Jeanne Johnson Baughman; a son, Joshua Baughman and his wife, Christie, of Akron; two daughters, Sarah Lukacs and her husband, Kasey, and Katie Kelley and her husband, Brian, all of Akron; his mother-in-law, Jane Ann Johnson of Lancaster; two brothers, Joe Dufore of Illinois and Richard Dufore of Akron; and two grandchildren, Asher Kelley and Samuel Kelley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sherry Conner.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 667 Hubbard Drive, Lancaster.
