Mr. William Jerry Turner, 76, died Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Springs Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 10, 1937, in Great Falls and was a son of the late Arthur Turner and Thelma Rollins Turner.
He was the husband of Clara Taylor Turner.
Mr. Turner retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church.
Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, Clara Taylor Turner; three sons, Jerry Turner and his wife, Susan of Statesville, N.C., Hugh Turner and his wife, Kelli of Kershaw, and Richard Turner and his wife, Laurie of Naples, Fla.; a daughter, Linda Welling and her husband, Jon of Naples; a sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Turner of Lancaster; twelve grandchildren, Will Turner and his wife, Chrissy, Hannah Walker, Matthew Turner, Casey Clendenin, Taylor Clendenin, Kristen Woronowski and her husband, Aaron, Kyle Turner and his wife, Stacy, Scott Turner, Christopher Welling and Tiffany DiMaggio and her husband, Paul, Frank Welling and his wife, Tamera, and Eric Welling and his wife, Kelly Elizabeth; and six great grandchildren, Jackson and Chase Woronowski, Benjamin Turner, Corbin Welling and Ashlyn and Dylan DiMaggio.
Mr. Turner was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur Turner Jr., Donnie Turner and Jimmy Turner.
The celebration of life funeral services for Mr. Turner are 3 p.m. today, July 28, at Hopewell United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. David Inman, with burial in the church cemetery.
