COLUMBIA – Mrs. Barbara Allyn Robertson Dekle, 81, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013.

She was born April 16, 1932, in Heath Springs and was a daughter of the late Clyde Henry and Mary Gleaton Robertson.
Barbara was a member of St. Andrews Baptist Church, where she served as nursery director for many years. She had a love for flowers, cats and most importantly, children of all ages.
She is survived by her sister-in law, Betty Caskey Robertson of Richfield, N.C.; brother-in law, Robert G. Dekle, of Twin City, Ga.; nieces, Rosalind Robertson Lowe and Lisa Robertson Yeomans; nephews, Hugh Allen Dekle and Robert G. Dekle Jr.; and her Flint Street family, which includes two very special people, Kelly Burton Hodge and Kevin Burton, who provided many happy and memorable moments during their childhood and growing up years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie M Dekle III.
Funeral services for Barbara Allyn Robertson Dekle are 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at St. Andrews Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service, with burial at 3 p.m. in the Salem Cemetery, Heath Springs.
