Mrs. Barbara Jean Watts Faile, 72, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, at her home.

She was born Nov. 1, 1941, in Lancaster, the daughter of the late James C. Watts and Connie Ghent Watts. She was the wife of Joe S. Faile.
Mrs. Faile retired from Springs Industries after 41 years of service and was an active member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Faile is survived by her husband, Joe S. Faile of the home; a daughter, Tami Faile Ethridge and her husband, David, of Lancaster; three sisters, Frances "Sis" Casey and her husband, Buddy, Betty Criminger and Idell Roberts, all of Lancaster; a grandson, Joseph C. Ethridge and his wife, Christy, of Lancaster; and a great-grandson, Spencer L. Ethridge.
Mrs. Faile was preceded in death by a brother, David Watts.
The celebration of life funeral service for Mrs. Faile is 11 a.m. today, Nov. 29, 2013, at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Trent McLaughlin officiating. Entombment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family of Mrs. Faile received friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at Burgess Funeral Home.
The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Baptist Church Building Fund, 3052 Taxahaw Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
