Mr. Billy Henry McIntyre, 75, of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital in Charleston. He was born Oct. 17, 1937, in Chesterfield and was a son of the late Minnie McIntyre. He loved his family, loved being outdoors, watching the birds and going to the mountains. He enjoyed motorcycles, go cart racing, his wheel horse, watching football games, going to auctions and his animals. He had an opinion about everything and lived life to its fullest. Mr. McIntyre is survived by his wife, Christine Lines McIntyre; two sons, Billy Carroll McIntyre of Newport News, Va. and Russell Wayne McIntyre and his wife, April, of Lancaster; two daughters, Lori Elizabeth Etheridge and her husband, Dink, of Fort Lawn and Debra Sue Nair and her husband, Kenneth, of Newport News; two stepsons, Robert Eugene Nelson of Hayes, Va. and Gary Wayne Nelson of Mobile, Ala.; a stepdaughter, Debra Sue Camfield and her husband, Ellis, of Pasadena, Texas; two sisters, Ruth Coward of Chesterfield and Catherine Webb of Wallace; five grandchildren, Heather McIntyre, Mathew McIntyre, Shane Etheridge, Joy Etheridge and Amber Nair; and one great-grandchild, Kaylee McIntyre. Services to celebrate the life of Mr. McIntyre are 3 p.m. today, May 26, 2013, at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Douglas Pate, with burial in Lancaster Memorial Park. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times from the home 1017 Laurel Ave. Lancaster Funeral Home is caring for the family of Mr. McIntyre.
