Charles Todd Knight, 49, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center. He was born Dec. 25, 1962, in Lancaster County, the son of Clarice Mackey Knight and the late Charles Edward Knight. Mr. Knight was a quality control superintendent with the Lancaster County Water and Sewer District and a member of Fork Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. Knight is survived by his mother, Clarice M. Knight of Lancaster; a son, Andrew Knight of Kershaw; a daughter, Ashley K. Melton and her husband, Phillip, of Lancaster; two sisters, Kimberly Rhyner and her husband, Mike, and Angie Knight, both of Lancaster; a granddaughter, Lexan Grace Melton; and his fiancé, Tammy Smith and her daughter, Anna, of Heath Springs.
The celebration of life graveside funeral service for Mr. Knight will be 2 p.m. today, Nov. 16, 2012, at Fork Hill Baptist Church by the Revs. Rod Yow and Timothy Abernathy.
