Mr. Dwain B. "Bart" Robinson, 66, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. He was born March 31, 1946, in Lancaster. Mr. Robinson was a son of the late George Frank Robinson and Mary Lytle Barton Robinson and was the husband of Rachel Caskey Robinson. He retired from Duke Power and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Mr. Robinson was also a former Boy Scout Leader with Troop No.75, where he was a recipient of The Order of the Arrow and The Silver Beaver. He served our great country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. The celebration of life funeral service for Mr. Robinson will be at 2 p.m., today, Feb. 10, at Grace United Methodist Church, 1905 Country Club Drive, officiated by the Rev. Brian Humphries with burial at Lancaster Memorial Park. The family of Mr. Robinson will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary and other times at the home. Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife, Rachel C. Robinson; two sons, Philip Marion Robinson of Gastonia, N.C., and Matthew Lee Robinson of Spartanburg; a brother, Morrison Robinson and his wife Jeanette, of Liberty Hill; and two grandchildren, Paige and Payton Robinson. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Anne Robinson. The family suggests memorials to Grace United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 418, Lancaster, SC 29721.
