HEATH SPRINGS – Mrs. Emmie "Catherine" Catoe Joyner, 81, of Heath Springs died Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at her home.

She was born Nov. 8, 1931, in Kershaw, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Catoe and Sarah Jane Hilton Catoe. Mrs. Joyner loved her family, gardening, fishing, reading and watching TV. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and friends.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Joyner was 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, at the graveside at Fork Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Tim Abernathy officiating.
Mrs. Joyner was preceded in death by her husband, Cleatus W. Joyner, and is survived by two daughters, Cathy Gordon and her husband, Johnny, and Christine Trull and her husband, Wendy, all of Heath Springs; her grandchildren, Angie Bonilla and her fiancé, Jeffery Catoe, Jody Contreras and her fiancé, Jeff Hinson, William Trull and his fiancé, Allison Winn, Heath Trull and his wife, Nicole, Jimmy Trull and his wife, Lynn, Chris Trull and his wife, Jennifer, and David Trull; great-grandchildren, Sydney Stover, Mikayla Gordon Bonilla, Hayley Contreras, Gabriel Gordon, Vanessa Trull, Cody Trull, Riley Trull, Zane Hunter and great-great-grandchildren, Gracee Trull and Kenslee Powers.
The family received friends at the home, 5022 Flat Creek Road, Heath Springs.
