Mrs. Faye Dean Thomas Knight, 64, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at her home. She was born March 4, 1949, in Lancaster County and was a daughter of Ethel Hancock Barrett and the late James Daniel Thomas. She was the wife of the late Edgar Lawrence Knight. Mrs. Knight was a homemaker, loved bass fishing and attended Victory Worship Center. Mrs. Knight is survived by her mother, Ethel Hancock Barrett of Lancaster; two sons, John James Hill and his wife, Carla, and Jimmy Wayne Hill and his wife, Sophie, all of Lancaster; two daughters, Deborah Faye Medlin and her husband, Jimmy, of Monroe and Teresa Hill Barton and her husband, Brian, of Lancaster; a stepdaughter, Dana Knight Simon of Alabama.; three brothers, Benjamin Thomas of Heath Springs, James Thomas and Roger Thomas, both of Lancaster; sisters, Becky Steen of Heath Springs and Sara Walden of Lancaster and triplet sisters, Nay Dean Revels and Maude Dean Gainey, both of Lancaster; 12 grandchildren, Brittany and Johnathan Hill, Jennifer, Jimmy Jr. and Ashlyn Hill, Jimmy Ray Medlin, Kimberly Faye Medlin, Jessica Hinson, Michael Wayne Davis, Derek Davis, Shelby and Leslie English; and three great-grandchildren, Delaney Hinson, Landon Davis and Brantley Briggs. The celebration of life funeral services for Mrs. Knight are 3 p.m. Friday, March 8, at Zion United Methodist Church, 1665 Zion Road, officiated by the Revs. Jim Elder, Eddie Usher and Brian Barton, with burial in the church cemetery. The family of Mrs. Knight will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the family life center of the church. The family suggest memorials be made to Victory Worship Center, P.O.
