Julian Clark Rollings, Sr., 93, widower of the late Dorothy Griggs Rollings, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 16, 1918, in Lancaster, a son of the late Roach Rollings and Minnie McAteer Rollings. Mr. Rollings was a member of Shiloh ARP Church. He loved his church and his fellow church members. Mr. Rollings enjoyed attending auctions and was an avid fisherman. He was a lifetime member of the Shiloh-Zion Fire Department.

The family is receiving friends at the home, 1390 Shiloh Unity Road, Lancaster.
Mr. Rollings is survived by two sons, J.C. Rollings and his wife, Theresa of Lancaster and Francis Rollings of Pageland; one daughter, Brenda Rushing and her husband, James, of Lancaster; one brother, Luther Rollings of Lancaster; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Joe Marvin Rollings; one brother, Lee Rollings and one sister, Virginia Baker.
The family would like to acknowledge Donna Knight as a caretaker for Mr. Rollings for the past two years.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Rollings will be held at 2 p.m. today Nov. 14, 2012 from the graveside at Shiloh ARP Church Cemetery with the Revs. Mark Miller and Wayne Dixon officiating.
