Mrs. Loretta Glatfelter Jones Hall, 84, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at her home. She was born Dec. 4, 1928, in Lancaster, Pa. and was a daughter of the late John D. Glatfelter and Bertha Faye Mutzebaugh Glatfelter. Mrs. Hall was the wife of the late Howard H. Hall. She retired from Carolina Community Actions with the U.S. government and was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Hall is survived by two sons, George E. Jones III and his wife, Kim, of Arlington, Texas, and John L. "Casey" Jones of Burleson, Texas; two daughters, Jessie Jones Eckel of Arlington and Dodi Faye Sharkey and her husband, B.K., of Caddo Mills, Texas; a sister-in-law, Helen Glatfelter of Peach Bottom, Pa.; two half-brothers, Clarence Glatfelter and Frank Glatfelter, both of Lancaster, Pa.; a half-sister, Barbara Martin of Lancaster, Pa.; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and longtime friends, Jimmy and Josh Ussery and Lou and Jerry Pate. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald G. Glatfelter; a half-brother, Edward Glatfelter; a sister, Elizabeth Young; a half-sister, June Reuter; and twin grandsons, Michael and Stephen Eckel. A celebration of life graveside service for Mrs. Hall is at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Lancaster, Pa. The family of Mrs. Hall will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. today, Feb. 22, at Hartley-Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway.
