LANCASTER – Mrs. Louise Cohen Eller, 85, wife of the Rev. Harold J. Eller of 1046 Memorial Park Rd., Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018, at Piedmont Medical Center.
Mrs. Eller was born April 4, 1933, in Cherryville, N.C., a daughter of the late William Paul Cohen and Ada Black Cohen.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lancaster and was active in her husband's ministry as he pastored several churches in the Upstate. Mrs. Eller enjoyed cooking, gardening and taking care of her family.
Survivors, in addition to her husband of 66 years, include a daughter, Tanya Eller Peterson and husband, Chris, of Lancaster; three sons, Harold David Eller and Gerald Eller, both of Lancaster, and Phillip Eller of Rock Hill; a half sister and a half brother; six grandchildren, Jonathan Eller, Brittany Eller, Joshua Eller, Adrienne Lee, Matthew Peterson and Andrew Eller; two great-grandchildren, Brooke Lee and Parker Lee; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one sister, Ethel Jolly; and two brothers, Harry Cohen and Junior Cohen.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, Sept. 14, at Wade Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1094 Memorial Park Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m., Friday afternoon, at Union Memorial Gardens, 1720 Whitmire Highway, Union, SC 29379.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - noon prior to the services at the church.
