Louise H. Beaver, 96, passed away June 7, 2018, at her home.
She was born January 12, 1922, in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Virgil Van Hinson and Nina Weaver Hinson. She was the youngest of nine children.
Mrs. Beaver was a member of New Hope Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for 39 years. She loved her church, her Lord, and her family.
Mrs. Beaver is survived by her son, Douglas Beaver and his wife, Denice; daughter, Novice Baker and her husband, Ronnie; grandchildren, Mandy Denton and her husband, Hugh, Clint Beaver and his wife, Greta, Shawna Holden and her husband, Dwight, and Beaver Baker and his wife, Kerri; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Baxter Beaver; and her brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 10–11 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, at New Hope Baptist Church.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the church, with burial following in the church cemetery. The Revs. Steven Pace and Patrick Clark will officiate.
The family suggests memorials be made to New Hope Baptist Church, Building Fund, 3731 Lynwood Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720.
