Graveside services for Marie Hunter Connor, 95, of Lancaster, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Heath Springs. The Rev. Tony Clark will officiate.

Mrs. Connor died Thursday, Sept. 27, at Heath Springs Residential Center, Heath Springs. Born in Lancaster, Dec. 30, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Toy and Elizabeth Small Hunter. Mrs. Connor owned the Trend Style Beauty Shop for 35 years. She was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Lancaster.
Surviving are a daughter, Sybil Faile (Billy) of Kershaw; a son, Wayne Sutton of Riverside, Texas; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, the Rev. John D. Hunter of Mooresville, N.C.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.L. Connor; a son, Roland Sutton of Cheraw; two brothers, Ivo Hunter and Jairy C. Hunter; and two sisters, Mary Fletcher and Hilda Phillips.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the cemetery.
