Mr. Randy B. Funderburk, 64, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at University Medical Center of Charleston.

A service is scheduled for 3 p.m. today, Dec. 15, at McLean Funeral Directors, Mahaffey Chapel. The Rev. Donnie Tillman will officiate. Interment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. today, Dec. 15, at McLean Funeral Directors, Mahaffey Chapel.
Mr. Funderburk was born March 23, 1949, in Lancaster. He was a son of the late Coble and Louise Snipes Funderburk.
He was retired from General Tire Manufacturing in Charlotte and CarQuest in Lancaster, where he was a counter pro. He was a member of the U.S. Army Reserve and attended Wade Memorial Presbyterian Church. He was a Mason and a member of Hejaz Shrine Temple.
Mr. Funderburk is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Deese Funderburk; a daughter, Lisa Watts of Lancaster; four godsons, Josh and Michael Webb of Lancaster and Tyler and Adam Southworth of Chester; two goddaughters, Riwin and Kassie Southworth of Chester; a sister, Theresa F. Horton and husband, Gary, of Heath Springs; and three nephews, Greg Small of Mooresville, Bryan Horton of Heath Springs and Andy Horton of Irmo.
