HEATH SPRINGS – Mr. Thomas Jackson "Jackie" Hinson, age 64, died Monday, July 15, 2013, at his home. Mr. Hinson was born May 18, 1949, in Lancaster and was a son of the late I.W. Hinson Sr. and Virginia Sistare Hinson. He was the husband of Blenda Adams Hinson. Mr. Hinson was a self- employed contractor and a member of Rich Hill Baptist Church. He loved his grandchildren, Caige and Talen. Mr. Hinson is survived by his wife, Blenda Adams Hinson of the home; three sons, Michael Hinson and his fiancée, Alison Plyler, of Lancaster, Wayne Carter of Lancaster and Scott Carter and his wife, Betsy, of Heath Springs; a brother, I.W. "Billy" Hinson Jr. and his wife, Dianne, of Heath Springs; a sister, Donna H. Whisennant and her husband, Lamar, of Heath Springs; two grandchildren, Caige and Talen Carter; his favorite horse, "Rocket;" and loyal dog "Zip." The celebration of life memorial services for Mr. Hinson are 5 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at Rich Hill Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Rod Yow and Dr. Trent McLaughlin. The family of Mr. Hinson will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
