It's been 4 years and I miss Van so much sometimes that it hurts. I could always discuss work issues with him even after retirement and he always had some sage and humorous answer. I always looked forward to talking to him. Even now, when something interesting comes up at work, I think "What would Van think of this?" Well, Van, I am not rushing it but I look forward to the day I can joke with you again.

It has been 2 years and I still grieve. I really miss talking to Van and meeting him for lunch periodically. Every time something new happens at work, I think how Van would react to it. I know that he and Marsha are happy now, but I sure do miss them both.
