KERSHAW – Funeral services for Rena McDonald Stover, 73, of Kershaw, are 1 p.m., today, Jan. 29, 2014, in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church. The Rev. Bryant D. Fersner will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kershaw City Cemetery.

Mrs. Stover, widow of Columbus Brown Stover, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Harbor Chase, Rock Hill.
Born in the Buffalo community of Kershaw, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Sallie Mosley McDonald.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Kershaw. Her two greatest loves were children and flowers.
Surviving are her daughter, Cathy S. Lowes and her husband, Denny, of Rock Hill; two sons, Rondall Stover and his wife, Eva, of Heath Springs, and Michael Stover and his wife, Lisa, of Newport, N.C.; five grandchildren, Jason Stover, Ethan Stover, Rachel Lowes, Ian Lowes and Noah Stover; and two sisters, Valerie Thompson of Heath Springs and Chris Atkins of Dover, Del.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Gene McDonald.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at noon in the sanctuary of the church.
