MONROE, N.C. – Mr. Peter Nuzzolese, age 50, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at McWhorter House in Monroe.

He was born Dec. 10, 1963, in Goshen, N.Y., the son of Anna Harter Nuzzolese and the late Adam Joseph Nuzzolese and was the husband of Laurie Zowaski Nuzzolese.
Mr. Nuzzolese was service manager for Blue Max Trucking, a member of Saint Catherine Catholic Church and served our great country in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Nuzzolese is survived by his wife, Laurie Nuzzolese; his mother, Anna Nuzzolese of Goshen; two sons, Joseph Nuzzolese and his wife, Carey, of Fort Bragg, N.C., and John Nuzzolese of Charlotte; a brother, Andrew Nuzzolese and his wife, Joanne, of Charlotte; two sisters, Michele Cowan and her husband, Robert, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Diane Andryshak and her husband, Ronald, of Jacksonville, N.C.; and three grandchildren, Mikala, Aiden and Ava Nuzzolese.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Nuzzolese is 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at Saint Catherine Catholic Church by Father David A. Runnion.
The family of Mr. Nuzzolese will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 26, at Burgess Funeral Home, and in lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Saint Catherine Catholic Church, 720 W. Meeting St., Lancaster, SC 29720.
