Ronnie E. Watts, 57, of Lancaster, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at his residence.

Mr. Watts was born Aug. 13, 1955, in Monroe, N.C. He was the son of Mary Jane Snipes Garrison and the late J. C. Watts. He worked for Quality Sprinkler as a pipe fitter. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in peacetime. He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Mr. Watts, in addition to his mother, is survived by his wife, Lynn Watts; daughter, Miranda Watts of Charlotte; son, Ronnie Watts of Lancaster; sister, Julie Ghent and husband, Joe, of Lancaster; sister, Lynn Morris of Lancaster; granddaughter, McKenzie Watts and grandson, Ronnie Watts.
A service is scheduled for 2 p.m., today, Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Oak Hill Baptist Church. The Revs. Thurmond Johnson and Cliff Henson will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family received friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at McLean Funeral Directors of Lancaster.
