Mr. Daryl Kirk Usher, 51, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
He was born in Lancaster and was a son of Doris Hallman Hudson and the late Bunyan Edward Usher. He was a dispatcher for J & S Concrete. Mr. Usher was a member of Barron Masonic Lodge No. 261, Heath Springs, Lancaster Moose Lodge, Jackson Shrine Club, York Scottish Rites and Great Falls Hillbilly Clan. He also was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Donna Burton Usher of the home; a son, Joshua Kirk Usher and his wife, Jessica; a daughter, Brittany Nichole Usher; four brothers, Rev. Dr. Eddie Usher and his wife, Peggy, of Rock Hill, Randy Usher and his wife, Freda, Johnny Usher and his wife, Brenda, Terry Usher and his wife, Lynn, all of Lancaster; three granddaughters, Ansley, Kailyn and Kinley Usher, all of Lancaster; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Darryl Kirk Usher are 3 p.m., today, Sept. 1, at St. Luke United Methodist Church, officiated by the Revs. Wayne Dickson and Dr. Eddie Usher, with a Masonic Rites burial in the church cemetery.
