Price, Allen Albert* - Kalkaska  
Price, Allen “Al” Albert; 70; of Kalkaska; passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 19, 2015; at Munson Medical Center, in Traverse City. Al was born on June 27, 1944, to the late Richard and Margaret (Smitka) Price, in Trenton, Michigan. He joined the Air Force in 1962 and then worked for the Trenton Police Department for 30 years, where he retired as Lieutenant. He then worked for the Kalkaska County Sheriff’s Department for an additional 16 years. Al enjoyed shooting guns, visiting with family, and he loved going out to lunch and dinner in and around Traverse City. Al is survived by his wife, Marianne; two daughters, Victoria (Mel) Muszynski and Jeanette (Mike) Fox; two sons, Vincent (Rhonda) Price and Lee (Shawn) Price; seven grandchildren, Eric, Nicole, Jenna, Jake, Akasha, Samantha, and Meagan; two great grandchildren, Delilah and Ryleigh; sister, Dolores “Dee” Price; brother, Richard (Margaret) Price; brothers-in-law, Dennis, David (Robin), Kenneth (Judy) and Robert Bondarenok; and his two dogs, Buffy and Suzi-Q. Al was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jane Price; and brother-in-law, Joseph Bondarenok. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, February 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Kalkaska Funeral Home, with Pastor Andy Bratton, officiating. Friends and family may begin gathering at 10 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

See, Lorrie Jo* - Kalkaska  
See, Lorrie Jo; 46; of Kalkaska; passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015; at Munson Medical Center. She was born on June 26, 1968, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Orie and Elsie (Vanderbrook) Wells. Lorrie Jo will be forever remembered as a loving mother, wife, sister, sister-in-law, and friend. She enjoyed the outdoors; camping, hunting, or being out in the garden with her roses. She was loveable, caring, and always supportive. Lorrie Jo worked for 16 years at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center and was at Glen’s Food Market prior to the hospital. She is survived by her loving husband, Tony See; sons, Brandon and Zachary Rocha; her mother, Elsie Wells; sisters, Cindy (Jeff) Gerring, Jeannie Zingg, and Amy (Jeff) Delaney; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Orie Wells. A Memorial Service will be held this summer in her honor. Memorial donations may be made to the Benefit of Lorrie Jo See Memorial Fund; c/o Kalkaska Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1457, Kalkaska MI 49646. Arrangements were entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral Home and Cremation services.

Kimball, Ruah* - Kalkaska  
Kimball, Ruah Gertrude; age 96; of Dearborn Heights, formerly of Kalkaska, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015. She was born on February 2, 1919 in Garfield Township to the late Daniel and Laura (Sides) Hatley. Ruah married John Kimball on February 20, 1937 in Kalkaska County. They were married for 68 years when John passed away in July of 2005. Together they raised 3 wonderful children. Ruah retired from Montgomery Wards after 20 years of dedicated service. She was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ for over 45 years. Ruah was very active at the Kalkaska Senior Center and could be found there every day from open to close. She also represented the area seniors with her boyfriend Willard Ryckman when they reigned as the National Trout Festival Senior King and Queen. Ruah is survived by her devoted children, Loretta Hamilton of Dearborn Heights and Raymond (Linda) Kimball of Kalkaska and Boise Blanc Island; her dear sister, Alice Bair of Lansing; 8 cherished grandchildren; 13 precious great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; her son, John “Danny” Kimball; 2 grandsons, Jeff Hamilton and Andrew Kimball; her son-in-law, James Hamilton; and 5 siblings. Visitation for Ruah will be held at Wolfe-O’Neill Funeral Home on Sunday, February 22, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. and on Monday from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Dan Johnson of the Kalkaska Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in the spring at Garfield Township Cemetery. Contributions may be given in Ruah’s memory to Kalkaska Senior Center, P.O. King, Sandra Lynn* - Williamsburg  
King, Sandra “Sandy” Lynn; 69; of Williamsburg; passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015; at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Sandy was born on August 21, 1945, in St. Claire, MI, to Hector and Melba (Ahles) Mudge. She married the love of her life, Charles “Chuck” William King on June 8, 1978. Sandy had a great love for travel, all people and cultures. She proudly accomplished her goals of career and travel with her husband as members of the Oil and Gas Industry. She made lasting lifelong friendships in every City she lived in around the world. Sandy’s work as a Hospice Volunteer was very fulfilling and meaningful to her. She received the “Volunteer of the Year” award in Hillsdale county during her time with Hospice. Recently, she requested and received help for herself and her family from Hospice at the end of her life. Because Sandy believed in hospice, she would like any contribution’s in her honor to go to Munson Hospice House of Traverse City. Surviving Sandy is her husband, Chuck; parents, Hector and Melba; children, Renea (Jeff) Weatherwax, Kelly King, Dawn Johnson, David King, and Jenny (Matt) Powell; grandchildren, Christopher (Colleen) Weatherwax, Rachel Weatherwax, Shelby Johnson, Logan Johnson, Korey King, Ernie Abbott, and Wyatt Powell; a brother, David Mudge; and many other loving family members and friends around the world. Nolff, Wallace* - Fife Lake  
Nolff, Wallace H. “Wally”; age 88; of Fife Lake; passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He was born on September 5, 1926 in South Boardman to the late Harold C. and Opal M. (Allen) Nolff.Wally served his country proudly as member of the United States Army during W.W.II. He worked as a carpenter in the construction industry. Wally married the former Caroline Larson on November 10, 1973 in Mancelona.Wally was a member of the American Legion. Wally is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Caroline; his loving children, Rick (Mary) Nolff of Trion, GA and Pauline Fraser of Mason; his dear step-sons, Roger (Kristie) Balcer of South Boardman and Kevin (Ellen) Balcer of Fairbanks, AK; his siblings, Robert (Rosie) Nolff of Romulus and Nellie Jean (Ray) Dunaway of Indianapolis, IN; eight cherished grandchildren; six precious great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Paulette Sarns; his brother, Elmond Nolff; and his parents. Visitation for Wally was on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Wolfe-O’Neill Funeral Home. Funeral services was on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Robert Nolff officiating.
