Barbara E. Loomis
Funeral service for Barbara Ellen Loomis, age 79 of Clarksville, will be Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 4 p.m., at the Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Larry Robertson will officiate. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 12 p.m. until the hour of service at the Sykes Funeral Home Chapel.
Barbara passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at her residence.
She was born on July 30, 1933 in Towanda, PA. She was a member of Pennyrile Ramblers Camping Club. She enjoyed making crafts, working puzzles and was an avid cat lover.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Loomis, Sr.
She is survived by her son, Eddie (Wendy) Loomis of Clarksville; son, Roger (Connie) Loomis of Clarksville; daughter, Marcia Sanders of Clarksville; brother, Alan Jackson of PA; sister, Alberta White of NY; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
