Anna Merryman Obituary
Funeral service for Anna Louise Merryman, age 82 of Clarksville, will be Friday, February 1, 2013 at 12 p.m., at Sykes Funeral Home. Rev. Terrell Marcom will officiate. Burial will follow in the KY Veterans Cemetery West at 2 p.m. Visitation will be Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday, February 1, 2013 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., at Sykes Funeral Home.
Ms. Merryman passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the home of her loving daughter, Diane Tate, who cared for her during her extended illness. She was born on February 12, 1930 in Baltimore, MD to the late Merton Quinby and Mary Elizabeth Quinby. She was a member of Excell Baptist Church and attended the Ajax community center for seniors for many years. She was a retired Nurse.
Preceding Ms. Merryman in death was her husband, Bill Merryman; son, Billy Merryman; daughter, Robyn Lee Merryman; long time companion, Hugh Goldie Wallace.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane (Brian)Tate; daughter, Linda Merryman; son, Floyd Glenn Merryman; daughter, Mary Beth Merryman; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Merryman, Trae Miller, Bruce Tate, Brian Tate, Robert Pardue, Jeremy Bolin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Williams, Clyde Burney, J R Miller.

It's been a little less interesting at Ajax without Anna there. We miss her laugh and her sassy side also. I am glad she is at peace and not in pain anymore. Diane you were a good strong daughter. You were lucky to have each other for so many years.

To the Merryman Family, So sorry for the loss of MS.Anna she was a great woman head strong but a great conversationalist Ive had the pleasure of driving your mother with CTS on many occasions and was loved by many drivers an passengers.
