Carrie Mae Rudolph
Carrie Mae Rudolph, age 87 of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Signature Health Care in Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2012 at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Jimmy Terry officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Foston Funeral Home. Burial will be in Foston Memorial Gardens.
She was born August 24, 1925 to the late Vera and Cordia Norfleet Moore. She was a charter member of Tabernacle MBC. She retired from Memorial Hospital in the Dietary Department and worked as maintenance personnel at Mount Olive MBC. Her affiliations consisted of Women's Issues Task Force of the Tennessee Legislative Black Caucus, a founding member of Women United for Change, an active member of the Customs House Museum and a long devoted trustee of the Tabernacle MBC.
She was preceded in by her husband, Roscoe Rudolph and sisters, Beluah Hunt Bell and Esterlene Kendrick.
She is survived by her three nieces, which she was a loving caregiver for, Diane Gaines, PA, Thelma Kendrick, Linda Kendrick and Mary Esther Kendrick, all of Louisville, KY and devoted adopted family, Pastor Jimmy and Servella Terry, and Jim Terry, Jr., and a host of family and friends.
