James Andrew Nelson, age 67, passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 at his home in Cumberland Furnace.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Anthony Daley officiating. Burial will follow in the Black Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
James entered this life on June 23, 1946 in Webster, MA, son of Charles Robert Nelson and Doris Fournier Nelson. James was a retired business owner in the janitorial industry and was a U.S. Army veteran. He attended Louise United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Black Nelson of Cumberland Furnace; children, Jamie Nelson and wife Misty of Cumberland Furnace, and Laura Chapman and husband Greg of Clarksville; and brothers, Ronnie Nelson and Vernon Nelson. He was the proud grandfather of Jordan, Benjamin, Zachary, Tiana and Ryan Nelson, and Chloe, Caleb Calhoun and Madison Chapman.
Members of the family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
