William "Bill" Revis
William "Bill" Revis, age 92 of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at his residence.
He was born on July 10, 1921 in Waynesville, NC to the late Napolean B. Revis and Louise Lee Revis.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 1 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Terrell Marcom and Mike Madewell officiating. Burial will be in Living Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 3-7 p.m. and Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Bill was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in WWII with the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a member of Excell Baptist Church, the Shriners, McKinley Lodge 712, and a 33rd Degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Day Revis of Clarksville, TN; two step-sons, Tim Wills and Tom Wills of West Virginia; step-daughter, Tabatha Basler (Jeff) of Ashland City, TN; brother, Van H. Revis of Clarksville, TN; and niece, Teresa Jan Revis of Clarksville, TN.
Pallbearers will be John Stanley, Jeff Basler, Bobby Watson, Irv Kruell, John Basler, and John Evans.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Excell Baptist Church Building Fund, 328 Excell Road, Clarksville, TN 37043.

I'm sorry to discover that my old friend has passed. We were among the original 7 that organized the Orak Shrine Motor Patrol in Hammond, Indiana. We went to several conventions and always enjoyed a good time for a good cause. Rest in peace, old friend.
