Blaine Hodge, Jr.

Blaine Hodge, Jr., age 60 of Clarksville, died Thursday, February 20, 2014 at his home.

He was born in Newton, NC to the late Blaine Hodge, Sr. and Thelma Capps Hodge. Blaine was also preceded in death by his brother, Doug Hodge.

Blaine was active in both the Army and the Marines, having served in Vietnam and the First Gulf War. He was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church, a past President of Noon Rotary Club, a Shriner, and a Mason in Vermont.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd at 3 p.m., at Madison Street United Methodist Church, with Rev. Laurie Hynson officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m., at the church. Full military honors will be held.

Mr. Hodge is survived by his wife, Bonnie MacLean Hodge; son, Blaine Hodge III (Charlsey) of Clarksville; daughter, Ashley Blaire Hodge (Adam Woodring) of Clarksville; sister, Paulette McCreary of Newton, NC; one nephew, Anthony McCreary; and one niece, Niney Hodge Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors, 223 8th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37203.
