Herman Clay Webb, age 86 of Dover, TN, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Stewart Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 10, 2014 from 1-6 p.m. and on Monday, August 11, 2014 from 12-2 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home.
He was born March 1, 1928 in Stewart Co., TN, son of the late William Ernest Webb and Ruby Seay Webb. Mr. Webb graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1957, moved back to Dover, where he lived for 57 years, was owner of Webb Drug Store, a member of the First Baptist Church of Dover and was deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was also a merchant marine with the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Timothy Webb; brothers, Jack Webb, Billy Webb, Jimmy Webb; sisters, Ernestine Gunter and Peggy Tate.
Survivors include his wife, June Logan Todd Webb, Dover, TN; son, Tyree Webb (Kathy), Dover, TN; daughter, Tara Newman (Bob), Clarksville, TN; brothers, Lloyd "Sonny" Webb, Indian Mound, TN, Kenneth Webb, Clarksville, TN; sisters, Doris Windham, Murfreesboro, TN, Margaret Ann Parker, Lawrenceburg, TN, Sylvia Vincent, Nashville, TN; grandchildren, J. Kyle Webb, Tyler Clay Webb, Ernee Webb, Logan M. Milliken, Landon Webb Milliken, Karee Webb Epps, Amy Webb; five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Grandchildren and Honorary Pallbearers will be Great Grandchildren.
