Robert "Bob" Lee Frimel

Robert "Bob" Lee Frimel, age 68, of Clarksville, TN, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center.

He was born March 10, 1946 in Centralia, IL to the late Lee Frimel and Dortha Day Frimel.

Robert was a retired mechanical engineer with TVA. He was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church, a former member of the Cunningham Volunteer Fire Department, C.A.T.S. Ham Radio Club, CERT, and a lifetime member of the Odin, IL Masonic Lodge.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Falls officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 3-7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Robert is survived by his wife of 42 years, Katherine Lyle Frimel; daughter, Emily Frimel Giles of Clarksville; son, Heath Lee Frimel of Clarksville; three sisters, Nancy (Johnny) Matthews of Clarksville, Mary (Jimmie Earl) McKinzie of Washington, IL and Becky (Greg) Mann of Clarksville; five grandchildren, Payton Elizabeth Frimel, Heath Lee Frimel II, Colby Mekhi Frimel, Justin Curtis Lee Giles and Anakin Eli Joseph Frimel.

Pallbearers will be Robert Matthews, Sam Matthews, Curt Mann, Tim Joyner, Jason Giles, William Davis, Jeff Davidson and Stephen Corlew.
