Magdalena Irene Krug Sartain, 83, Clarksville, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Pastor Scott Witt officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service Friday at the funeral home.
Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born August 31, 1926 in Grossbitenbach, Germany daughter of the late Fritz Otto Krug and Ella Gottschall Krug. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark T. Sartain,Sr; brother, Gerhardt Krug and sister, Sonja Schiller.
She was a member of Gateway Christian Church and past member of the Edelweiss Club of Clarksville. She was an active military spouse supporter for twenty five years.
Survivors include seven sons: Mitch Sartain (Kitty), Clarksville; Marcus Sartain (Mary Ann), Clarksville; Paul Sartain, Clarksville; Mike Sartain, Blackwood, NJ; Mark Sartain, Springfield, TN; Marvin Sartain (Sharon), Jacksonville, FL; and Melvin Sartain, Santa Barbara, CA; two daughters, Magdalena Brochet (Mickey) and Marlene Katzer (Chuck), both of King of Prussia, PA; a sister, Marianna Mau, Gehren, Germany; twenty five grandchildren and
Pallbearers will be Nick Sartain, Weston Sartain, Cody Sartain, Mike Sartain, Jr, Bill Robertson, and Patrick Brochet.
