Laura Lee "Travis" McGowan
Laura Lee "Travis" McGowan, age 48 of Clarksville, TN, died Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at her residence. She was born February 4, 1964 in Chicago, IL.
Survivors include her mother, Ada Travis, Clarksville; husband, Terry Sherfield, Clarksville; sons, Adam McGowan, Georgia and James McGowan, Clarksville; four daughters, Tiffany Elrod, Amanda McGowan, Lindsey McGowan and Jamie Christensen; brother "Bubba" Travis, all of Clarksville; sisters, June Hill, Ginny Pedron and Leslie Myers, and seven grandchildren, McKenzie, Mason, Brooklyn, Abbigial, Jay, Travis and Charlie.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Travis.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, at 1 p. m., with Steve Jackson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers, and burial will be in Southside Cemetery.
