Dorothy Theresa Craig, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, died December 21, 2012. More importantly she lived, truly lived from May 14, 1925 until her death.
Dorothy was born in Killaloe, Ontario, Canada, one of thirteen children. Her parents, Joseph and Clara Fleice were Polish Canadians. She was a revered matriarch who taught us many things. Some, she taught to cook. Some, she taught the meaning of za and qi. Some, she taught to fish. To all she taught how to love and the meaning of family.
Dorothy Claire Deeds, her namesake great- granddaughter wanted to share: "Tell everyone that we will always love her in our hearts and never forget her."
Her children know they have lost their faithful cheerleader and devoted champion. Ani, her cherished bichon, will miss her forever.
A private family memorial service will be held at Pretty Place in South Carolina.
Mother's last wish in her native Polish language would be May the Lord Bless you and keep you, Niech Pan wan blogoslawi i strzeze.
