Monroe "Baby" Golliday, Jr., age 70 of Guthrie, KY, died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
Funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Guildfield Missionary Baptist Church, Guthrie, KY. Visitation Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 12 Noon - 4 p.m., at Foston Funeral Home. The family will be present 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., at Guildfield Missionary Baptist Church in Guthrie, KY. Burial Restlawn Cemetery.
He was born August 28, 1942 to the late Monroe and Margie Cross Pendleton Golliday, Sr. He was a graduate of the Historical Burt High School and was a member of Guildfield Missionary Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Loudella Williams Golliday.
He leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Mary (Harold) Golliday, Clarksville, TN, Shelia Golliday, Guthrie, KY, Marilyn Golliday, Clarksville,TN, Belinda Golliday, Guthrie, KY, Angela (Cecil) Henry, Elkton, KY and adopted daughters, Shacira Stowers, Columbus, IN, Lisa Muir and Shannon Stowers, both of Guthire, KY; son, Monroe (Lakesha) Golliday III, Clarksville, TN; sisters, Effie (Charlie) Ogburn, Guthire, KY, Betty Bryson, Clarksville, TN, Emma (David) Johnson, Dissree (Melvin) Greene and Blonnie (Thomas) Burroughs; brothers, Robert Lee Golliday, Donald (Rhonda) Golliday and Charles E. Golliday, all of Indianapolis, IN; aunt, Sally Bowling; uncle, Joe Moore; 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
