Jose Manuel Calleros
MSG (Ret) Jose Manuel Calleros, age 66 of Clarksville, passed away at his home December 7, 2013.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2013 at Soldiers Chapel, Fort Campbell, KY with Father James Peak officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Jose born August 13, 1947 in Tijuana, Mexico. He was a Eucharist Minister at Soldiers Chapel, a Logistics Analyst, a member of the VFW, and a volunteer at Blanchfield Army Hospital serving Communion and prayer. Jose retired from service after 22 years. He will be remembered as a loving husband of 40 years, loving father, grandfather, and son. He was dedicated to his family and church.
Jose is preceded in death by his, mother, Dolores Calleros-Fong and grandmother, Camerina Montano Calleros.
Jose is survived by his wife, June Buck Calleros of Clarksville; sons, Phillip Calleros of Clarksville, TN, Joseph Calleros of San Antonio, TX; father, Phillip Fong, Sr. of Rosemead, CA; sisters, Maria Calleros Garcia and Diane (Raul) Fong-Corona, both of San Dimas, CA; brother, Phillip Fong, Jr. of Rosemead, CA; one granddaughter and four grandsons; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Family members will serve as Pallbearers.
