Ramey "Jr" Procter
Ramey "Jr" Procter, age 87, of Clarksville, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 14, 2013, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Ramey was born in Franklin, KY to the late Ramey M. Procter, Sr. and Aileen Wells Rutherford. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Chester Procter; one daughter, Jennifer Isaacs.
Mr. Procter was the owner of Clarksville Vending, a World War II Navy Veteran, a member of First Baptist Church, and an avid Kentucky Basketball fan.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at First Baptist Church, Grace Chapel with Rev. Cal Hampton, Rev. Roger Freeman and Rev. Larry Riley officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 16, 2013 from 2-7 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Edmondson, Justin Chester, Chris Jarrell, Jeremy Procter, Jared Procter and Landon Chester.
Ramey is survived by two sons, Greg (Dana) Procter of Clarksville and Adolphus Chester (Robin) of Knoxville, TN; six daughters, Tina Procter Robertson (Mike) of Guthrie, KY, Judy Edmondson (Ben), Barbara Jo Knight (Bobby), Jackie Chester Carraway, Janet Chester Jarrell (Philip) all of Clarksville and Melissa Quinley of North Carolina; one brother, Brad Procter of Gallatin, TN; one sister, Elizabeth Logan of Gallatin, TN; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; his beloved dog, Casey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clarksville Academy Athletic Fund, 710 N. Second Street, Clarksville, TN 37040.

We are so sorry for your loss, especially at Christmas! We lost Carolyn's sister, Ellinor, Dec. 14, 2012 at age 75.
