Albert Hargis Obituary
Albert Ramon Hargis, age 76 of Clarksville, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2014.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ramon was born on September 29, 1937 in Stewart County, the son of the late Albert Elmo Hargis and Earlene Vaughn Hargis. He retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation as an engineer and was a contractor. He was a member of Forest Street United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter, Tammy Jo Hargis and his brother, Rymon Hargis.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bobbie Adams Hargis; brother, Randall Hargis; sister, Sue Walker.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

So glad I was able to visit with Ramon along with Mother & Ginger when he was at Gateway the last time. Rest in peace Ramon, you've carried a heavy load for a long time, now it's time to go home. Love you & Bobbie.

So sorry I couldn't be there but know my heart is heavy with the loss of our Uncle Ray. He was a very special man and we will miss him greatly. My prayers to Aunt Bobbie and all the family. I love you all.
