Registered Nurse
PLANT CITY - Mary Alice Kendall Adams, 67, of Plant City, Florida passed away on January 9, 2014 after 16 years of her battle with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio and was a registered nurse in the state of Florida for 45 years. Mary was passionate about nursing and making a difference in the lives of children she provided care for.
Mary is survived by her husband Bill Adams; 4 children Gregg Ganas Jr. (Melanie), Heather Patrick (Chuck), Teresa Adams, and Kristi Dean (Robbie); and 5 grandchildren Evan Ganas, Garrett Ganas, Kennedy Dean, Dillon Patrick, and Haydon Patrick.
A Celebration of life will be held on Mon., Jan. 13 at 3:00 P.M. at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 CR 39 S., Plant City, where the family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 P.M. Interment in Pelote Cemetery, Lithia. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to UF Hematology Oncology Education and Research Fund# F001057. Check made payable to UF Foundation, Inc., P.O.
