LAKELAND - Ernestine Walls Campbell, 64, was born in Lakeland, FL on November 24, 1948 to the late Juanita Walls. She passed away from this life to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 11, 2013, due to cardiac failure.
She graduated from Rochelle High School in 1966 and completed her college degree in education from Bethune Cook College. She was married to the late Errol Campbell.
Ernestine retired in 2001 after 32 years of teaching at several local high schools. She loved the Lord and was a member of Free Life Chapel of Lakeland, FL. She will be deeply missed everyday but her memories will keep her close to the hearts of those who knew her best.
Ernestine was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Walls and her brother Romeo L. Walls. In the absence of her body but not her spirit, Ernestine leaves to cherish her love and memories: her cousins: Claudia Strong of Lakeland, FL, Altheal and Mae Williams of Miami, FL; a dear and devoted friend Susie L. Johnson of Sebring FL; a God son, Quentin McGriff of Lakeland, FL; her Rochelle class-mates of 1966; a host of cousins, and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
Funeral arrangements are by Oldham Funeral Home, 1537 Kettles Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33805, (863) 683-2419. Visitation will be at Oldham Funeral Home, Sunday, June 23, 2013, from 4pm - 6pm. Home-going service is Monday, June 24, 2013, 11 am at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church, 1645 N. Webster Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33805, (863) 683-1831 .

My Deepest Sympathy to the family. Ernestine was an easy-going, sweet spirited Christian lady and a good neighbor. I will miss seeing her out shopping. She is resting in the Lord until we get there. Remember her and smile.
