FORT MEADE - William "Billy" Kersey, Sr., 52, of Fort Meade, FL, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, of cancer at his residence in Fort Meade.
Billy was a heavy equipment operator for McDonald Construction for 22 years.
He is survived by his wife; Linda Kersey, daughter Cathryn Kersey of Fort Meade, two sons: William Kersey, II of Fort Meade and Alex Kersey of Bartow, four sisters: Jackie Summers of Fort Meade, Alice Slora of Fort Meade, Mary Goan of League, TX and Ramona Cartegena of Bartow.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm, Thursday, March 7, 2013 at McLean Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at First United Methodist Church at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 8, 2013. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Fort Meade, FL. Condolence to the family at
