Dearest Brightwell family...so sorry that Richard's time here on this earth with us has come to an end. What a young man he was, I have known him all of his life, watched him grow up in the First Assembly of God Church on Ave G. in Winter Haven. He truly loved his Lord and Savior and what rejoicing going on in Heaven, singing like he has never heard or sang before. I last saw him at Fred's the first Sunday of Aug. 2012, he made a point of finding me after he had seen my sister there. What a joy it was to see and talk with him again after so many years had pasted. The void here on this earth is huge and he will be missed so very much. Love and prayers to Derek and all the family. He was so proud of his son. He is another one that will greet us "When we all get to heaven".

I have known Richard Brightwell my entire life and he was an awesome friend to me and my family. He even sang at my moms funeral. I will always cherish the good times we had at WH First Assembly and also at Calvary, when he lived in the parsonage.

What a great friend Richard Brightwell was. I have known him all of my life. What a great joy to have He and Susie be a part of Blackburn's Interiors for about 5 years. He was always a kind gentleman that always had a servant's heart. Always loving and compassionate.Always an example of how a Christian should live. He will certainly be missed here but our loss is Heaven's gain. This is not goodbye my friend, I will see you later !

Richard will always remain special to me, Susie. He was the first pastor to come visit me after Wilburn died. He supported me and helped me find the right place to take my daughter in Texas to a drug rehab. I will always remember him as a friend and an example of Jesus' love and compassion.

TO MY BELOVED HUSBAND, WHO IS NOW SINGING IN A HEAVENLY CHOIR. HIS VOICE LOUD AND STRONG, HANDS RAISED PRAISING JESUS AND A GRAND SMILE ON HIS FACE THAT ALWAYS MADE MY HEART SKIP A BEAT NO MATTER WHAT TRIALS WE MAY BE FACING!
HE IS ACTUALLY SEEING AND WALKING AND TALKING WITH *JESUS CHRIST*!
HE IS LOVING ON HIS MOM AND DAD AND ALL OTHER LOVED ONES HE KNEW ON THIS EARTH.
THAT MAKES ME WANT TO SHOUT!!!!!
I LOVE YOU, RICHARD BRIGHTWELL WITH A DEEPER LOVE THAN I EVER THOUGHT POSSIBLE. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU AND I WILL CHERISH THE LAST 18 YEARS OF OUR PRECIOUS MOMENTS WE HAD HERE ON EARTH.
YOU GAVE ME A LOVE THAT I NEVER DREAMED COULD BE POSSIBLE, UNTIL I MET YOU, I THOUGHT IT ONLY HAPPENED IN FAIRY TALES.
WE WERE TWO PEOPLE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, BUT THE ONE THING THAT MADE OUR LOVE SO EXTREMELY SPECIAL WAS *GOD*. WHO WAS ALWAYS FIRST IN OUR MARRIAGE.
WE WERE TRULY ONE PERSON THE WAY GOD INTENDED AND I GIVE *HIM* ALL THE GLORY FOR THAT.
BABY, I LOVE YOU FOREVER AND I AM A BETTER PERSON BECAUSE OF YOU. <3 <3
