PEARMAN, REV. CHARLES E. - Auburndale  
REV. CHARLES E. PEARMAN, 82 WINTER HAVEN - Rev. Charles E. Pearman, 82, died Sunday, November 23, 2014, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center due to cancer. He was born in Athens, Tennessee on July, 25, 1932, and came to Winter Haven in 1974.He was an Army veteran, who served in Korea and was a POW. Charles was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Auburndale, Florida where he taught Sunday school, bible study and filled in for his pastor on numerous occasions. His last sermon at FMBS was on 10/8/14. He also pastored in Tennessee and was the pastor at Central Baptist Church in Winter Haven from 1975 until 1985. He was predeceased by his first wife, Wilma Pearman and his 2 daughters Darlene Pearman and Dianne Jones. He is survived by his wife Evelyn, 2 daughters, Delane Purvis and Deloris Jones; stepdaughters, Barbara Beach, Sandy Spears and Pat Stinson and 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 25, 2014, from 5-7PM at First Missionary Baptist Church, Auburndale and funeral service Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at 10AM also at the church. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery at 2PM. Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, Winter Haven entrusted with the arrangements.

MIKE PARRISH, 63 LAKELAND - Mike Parrish, 63, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014, of heart complications. He was a likelong resident and was baptized at Gibsonia Baptist Church. Mr. Parrish was a U.S. Army veteran and received the Bronze Star as well as the Army Commendation medal. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lemuel B. Parrish and Velma Parrish. Survived by lifelong best friend, Sherryl L. Jones; daughter, Wendi Lyn Parrish, both from Lakeland; four grand blessings, Ashlynn, Brooklyn, Shaelyn, and Makilynn; sister, Nona Fletcher; two nephews, Thomas Huff, Tony Fletcher; great niece, Amber Huff; and great great niece, Harlie Combee. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements by Lanier Funeral Home.

HYPPOLENE MARIE PAULEMON, 74 Nurse's Aide WINTER HAVEN - Mrs. Hyppolene Marie Paulemon, 74, of Winter Haven, FL, passed away on Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at the Winter Haven Hospital. She was born Jan. 9, 1940, in Potino, Haiti to Norlean and Marie Clemence Millien Andre. She was a Nurses Aide and was proud after having worked for 10 years in Haiti, she moved to the United States and worked another 33 years. She was a member of the Lena Vista United Methodist Church in Auburndale. Hyppolene is survived by: her husband of 47 years, Brillard; 4 daughters, Marie Paulemon of Ocala, FL, Mary Lucy O'Hara of Hamden, CT, Rose Mary Brooks of Stamford, CT, and Carline Archer of Stamford, CT; 6 brothers; 8 sisters; 6 grandchildren; and 53 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at Faith Baptist Church, 2140 Crystal Beach Road, Winter Haven. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. FRANCISCO PEREIRA de SOUSA JR.,83 LAKELAND - Francisco Pereira de Sousa, Jr., passed away November 19, 2014, due to pneumonia. Francisco was born November 7, 1931, to Francisco Pereira de Sousa, Sr., and Albina Rosa Marques-Pires in Veiros, Portugal. He was a builder and developer. Francisco married Gloria Henriques on July 9, 1955, in Fatima, Portugal. They were married for 59 years. Survivors include his wife, Gloria; daughters, Teresa Fleitz and her husband Pat, and Elizabeth Mirarchi and her husband Steve; his sister Maria Celeste De Carlo; and grandchildren, Robert, Claire, Carl and Dennis Fleitz, and Celeste Mirarchi. Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2014, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with visitation at 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church or St. Joseph's Academy in Lakeland. HARRY PRICE, Sr., 87 U.S. Navy Ret. MULBERRY - Harry Price, Sr., Senior Chief Gunner's Mate, U.S. Navy (Ret.), of Mulberry, died on 11/15/14. Harry was born 4/9/27, in Northfield, N.J. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and spending time with family and friends. Harry, Sr., is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Marjorie P. Price, his four children: Gary Hulsey and his wife Donna, Bobby Moore and his wife Ada, Elizabeth Castro and her husband Mike, and Harry Price, Jr. He was also loved by nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive guests at the Lake Pointe Village Clubhouse in Mulberry, Thursday, 11/20/14, from 11:00 a.m. until l:00 p.m.
